Either we are gonna tell, live, and walk in truth or live life lying to ourselves!
So once again It’s been a while since I have blogged and a lot has gone on since the last time I blogged .I have seen so much via social media, news media and its pretty sad how much ignorance is being spread. I once heard it said that a half truth is a whole lie and I have lived my life not doing this as a common practice. Life is not something that we especially adults, should be living telling half-truths. I say all the time there is nothing worse than watching an adult tell lies.
So today in the information age and the age of technology there is no way that if you don’t know something that you can’t find an answer. It is all around us! So much can be said about one who has the ability to gain knowledge but chooses to live in ignorance. So really to live in truth is a choice. To spread mistruths is not only a choice but a calculated deceptive move. Finally to walk in a complete and utter lie is self-deception at its best. I encourage all who read to stay away from this type of behavior because it is dangerous. In addition to this stay away from people who have this type of lifestyle. Yes, I did say life style because if a person is doing this willingly they have taken it on as a way of living. Not only are they building their reputation around being one who is a liar but they are paying no attention to the reputation they have being shattered. Keep in mind that reputation is what people think you are, but character is what you truly are so I’m not saying that a reputation should make or break you. However, when you build your life around lies then you aren’t too concerned about your reputation anyway.
So one of the main reasons I bring this up is because there are a lot of things that go on especially on different media outlets that are just blatant lies. What’s really sad is that most people buy into these lies and run with them as if they are truth without doing any research to see if there are any falsehoods in such a lie. There is really no excuse for this type of behavior other than people purposely telling such lies. It can be something really small or something extremely big it really doesn’t matter because a lie is a lie. There is no such thing as a little white lie by the way it’s still a lie at the end of the day.
If I were to challenge and leave you the reader with anything today it would be;
1. 1. To live your life honestly.
2. Don’t practice deceit.
3. Walk in integrity which means let your name and word mean something.
4. Don’t tell, spread, or manufacture lies.
5. Make it a goal to always tell the truth no matter what the consequences are.
As a Life Coach I always tell those whom seek advice from me to never be afraid to tell the truth and to make sure that the only thig that you have (your name) is preserved. I also tell them to never give people a reason to question their word or integrity.
This is what I leave for all of you to meditate on today and always.
