Why?
The question why comes up in many situations and circumstances. The word used when things are going wrong. The question why me, Or Why have things happened? Will always be a part of our lives. It is so interesting that we are driven to look at life and its situations in a negative light. When things happen that are not so great in this life we as a people never look at the positive reasons why these thigs are happening. Now this does not mean that bad things that happen are things we should be completely happy with, however we can look at the good in all bad situations. In life we never say things like why not me, Or this happened for a reason so I can become stronger in some way. We typically are not wired to see things long term. We especially in today’s time are short term people. We want things now and we don’t want to see the purpose to whatever things have come our way. God lives outside of time and why is a question that will come up. I guess the way we ask is the determining factor as to what we will get out of any situation.
Why is not a bad thing to ask, the biggest difference as to what you will learn from this question is how you ask the question.
Look at each situation in life as one that will make you and build you to be a better person. Ask questions like why not me? You wil find that life gets a lot easier when you look at it as a purpose driven lifestyle not a punishment that God has given to us because He does not like us or something. God is a good God and only wants good for us as His people. So remember that when you are asking why there is a purpose for our pain. There is a purpose for our growth. There is a purpose for our experience. Finally a purpose for our lives to; be and happen the way that they do.
Why is a great question when you look at it as a question that no matter what the answer may be there is growth from it!
