What’s on your mind?
I ask this question because for the most part people think about some crazy things. I can not exclude myself from this because if not careful my mind can run away very quickly. I think a lot and my mind moves so fast at times that I literally have to say mind be quiet. When I say this it causes my mind to settle and I can clearly think once again. As a man of faith I am constanly reading so that I can grow and mature spiritually so the following verses are what I came up with to help us all in our thinking.
Philippians 4:8-9;
New International Version (NIV)
8 Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. 9 Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.
These are great things to meditate on on a daily basis. This will absolutely keep you in a positive mind set. The difficulty most people have when it comes to being positive and thinking positive is meditation on the wrong things. When we concentrate on the negatives in this life then we follow that by thinking about them too much eventually we will speak them out and inturn live them out. It is crucial that we keep our minds on the right things in order to manifest those things in our lives. We are honestly only as good as we think ourselves to be. What I think on the most is what I will do and be. So if I am in a negative mind set constantly I can’t expect to manifest positive behavior. The exact opposite is true for positive behavior.
So if I were to leave you with anything to encourage you today in this message it would be to keep your thoughts positive and in check at all times. What you think on will be the actions you reproduce. What you think about constantly will be the person you will become. Finally if my thoughts are not filled with hope, positivity, inspiration, or motivation then I can only go as far as I allow my mind to go. I must first see myself doing something great before I can ever attain it. This all starts in our minds. So keep it in check. so I ask again;
