The Attack
So as a minister I will often times hear many tragic stories that have to do with death and many other attacks on the family? I was recently told that one of my mentees dads had a lung disorder that will prevent him from seeing his son’s graduation from high school. I was also told that one of his friend’s fathers recently died on his son’s birthday from diabetes and will not see his son graduate. I also heard today that another kid’s dad was diagnosed with cancer and was a victim of his dad dying when he was 16 and his biggest fear being that he will not see his son grow old. This young man has seen three tragic things happen in less than 3 months that all had to do with fathers. This is no coincidence that all these stories are related to dads. This is an attack straight from Satan!
Now for many of you this will be somewhat over your head especially if you do not understand spiritual matters, but I must address this because this information came to me today for a reason. Whenever we read in the bible about something great about to happen there was always an attack before it happened. When Jesus was to be born there was an attack on all the young males. So this is no surprise that today I am hearing that there is an attack on men, who are fathers dying really without warning. Now I personally have my own opinion on the medical field and what I think they are or are not doing but we have a responsibility to take care of ourselves. I recently attended a workshop on healthy eating and one of the things that stuck with me was when one of the instructors said that some of the things that are allowed in our foods are band in Europe. That was crazy but not surprising to me. If Europe thinks it not good to have in food why America does think it is okay is far from me. The reason this is not surprising is because as a part of a research or study patient at UCLA I was informed several years ago that there are proventitive measures for my disability. I was shocked, upset, pissed off at the FDA but enlightened. I heard things over the years that awoke my interest about the medical profession. I have had many conversations about death that is needed to control populations and many other “conspiracy theories!” This brings me to the original topic of attacks and this is something that I believe that people are not taking seriously. People who don’t take care of themselves sure enough wil probably see an early death and this is not arguable. However the doctors practice medicine and give out prognosis all the time that are incorrect and people have died as a result. People don’t realize that doctors are paid to tell us bad news so don’t expect anything else but bad news. I have felt that the pharmaceutical companies are in cahoots with the medical profession and politicians are in bed with them as well. This all leads me to encouraging people to take back their lives. When the attack is on then fight back. Don’t accept what the doctors say. Hope is much greater than hopelessness. Faith is much greater that faithlessness. One may ask how I muster up the faith to believe that when a doctor says that it is over we say that it is not over. How do we get this faith or confidence in a God that some of us don’t even really know let alone believe exists. All of these are very real and valid questions that can be answered in one response, and that is belief and faith in God. I know and have seen miracles in my lifetime. I am a walking miracle myself. I was told very discouraging news as a kid and refused to believe the prognosis. I have seen people healed from cancer and very abnormal diseases and disorders in my lifetime. I know of a kid who almost died as a result of the feelings in his mouth and the doctors not wanting to believe his mom when she said it was the mercury in his mouth that was causing his debilitating decline. She was right and moved across country until she found someone who would believe her and now is the author of a book that deals with the ignorance of patience and how we need to be more aware of what is being told to us. This is just a few stories that I have seen or heard in my lifetime. I have watched God heal people with my own eyes and hands in prayer and it still gives me chills to this day. So it is hard to convince me that a horrible death is in inevitable for people.
Now as a believer in God and His healing power I am not so stubborn that I don’t pay attention to the medical and physical aspects of how the body works. I have done much research and study to make sure that when I form an opinion it is not totally prejudice towards any other aspect of the situations concerning diagnosis from doctors. So with all this being said I wanted to encourage each and every reader to know that God still heals today like we read in the bible. If you don’t know about His healing power there are many stories in the bible that show these great acts. I encourage all of you to take back your lives by being positive and not negative. The power of a positive confession is amazing. The ability to see a situation not as it appears but as it can be is true faith in action. We must first see something in order to truly obtain it. Another important thing to remember is that we are spiritual beings having a physical experience not the other way around (Genesis 1:26). It reads as follows; 26 Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all[a] the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” This verse establishes God’s will, plan and purpose for man right away. He wanted man to look , act and be like Him. It’s pretty clear when you read it. So this leads me to the cool part about this whole attack thing I will leave you with a series of verses to encourage all of us to take our lives back. To walk in the authority we were given by God. To know ath our maker wants nothing but good for us. Finally that He has given us the word of God to follow as our guide to success.
One of the things God gave me years ago and that I live by to this day is; “You ar only as good as your last confession!” so guard your words, watch what you say, watch your mouth and be careful how you speak. Proverbs 18:21 King James Version (NKJV)
21 Death and life are in the power of the tongue,
And those who love it will eat its fruit.
Ephesians 4:29 Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers. Simply put your words have and carry power it is up to you how much effectiveness they will have.
Next I will leave you with verses on healing.
Isaiah 54:17 No weapon formed against you shall prosper,
And every tongue which rises against you in judgment
You shall condemn.
This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord,
And their righteousness is from Me,”
Says the Lord.
This includes the negative confession of doctors.
Isaiah 53:3 He is despised and rejected by men,
A Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief.
And we hid, as it were, our faces from Him;
He was despised, and we did not esteem Him.
4 Surely He has borne our griefs
And carried our sorrows;
Yet we esteemed Him stricken,
Smitten by God, and afflicted.
5 But He was wounded for our transgressions,
He was bruised for our iniquities;
The chastisement for our peace was upon Him,
And by His stripes we are healed.
These words are not suggestions they are commands. We are being told that the whole purpose of for Jesus’ stripes was for our healing.
Matthew 8:17 that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying:
“He Himself took our infirmities
And bore our sicknesses.”
1 Peter 2:24 who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed.
3 John 2 Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.
All these verses talk about healing and the power it has. I encourage you to read these for yourself and study them for true understandingof healing and what God has planned for our lives. I will leave yo with one last verse that speaks to why jesus came and why we can stand in power and faith.
1john 3:8 He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.
There was many reasons why God chose Crist to be our Savior but most certainly to destroy the works of the devil was one very real reason.
