Reality check for the believer
This message is for those who consider themselves a believer of God!
(KJV)2 Chronicles 7:14
If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
Many people don't want to hear the words of God but they are so important to our world state today. There are two sayings that keep me reminded of how to remain focused in troubled times,
The first is if we don't know history the future appears to be unfamiliar.
The second is that if we are not careful then history will repeat itself. Watching the turn of events in our country and even this world has happened before. It has a different look,, era, and phisicality but nothing is new under the sun. This thing is real! Relationship with God is something we are everyday not a weekly experience. While we want to practice religion like it is a sport people lives lye in the balance. We must rise up and do the things that help people move forward. Sometimes this is the hard things because it requires us to tell the truth. The word of God says let God be the truth and every man a liar so as long as we are telling the truth which is God's word then it is all good. Let's take the time to seek God where He can be found, truly humble ourselves, turn from our trivial thoughts and actions and doing so whole heartedly will bring about true change. The change this world desperately needs.
My encouragement for those who read is to truly know that we all have a destiny that we are to fulfill. We were all created to be worshipers of the true and living God. We all are a part of this place we call our home and are equally at fault when it is not being treated properly. This whole universe is a part of God's kingdom and our humility and prayer for it and us is a must. The way up is down (humility). The way to see true change is through prayer. Finally the way to show Gods love is through our commitment to see this world get better.
