Never Too Late
For the last year or so I have been contemplating going back to school after 20yrs or so. Well after much thought and research I have returned to school in pursuit of my second Bachelors degree. I am pretty excited and looking forward to finishing with honors. This is a heavy order because I do have some obstacles including my vision; however I am so ready to finish what I started.
For many of you there are things that you have wanted to do and you have not gotten back to them. This is so hard to do in theory and really hard to start. I want to encourage any of you who feel like time has passed, and you can’t go back to accomplish some loss or missed goals. You can do anything that you put your mind to! “It’s never too late!” For those of you who had to stop pursuing your dreams because of circumstances beyond your control “it’s never too late!” For that person that was discouraged or defeated because of someone’s opinion of what you could or could not do “it’s never too late!”
To that person who was told nothing but negative things when it came to your dreams and you conceded defeat “it’s never too late” to reclaim your dream! For those of you who have faced financial hardships like most of us within the last 5 years “it’s never too late” to start over!
To the person who have physical challenges such as myself that hinder you from having the freedom that you would like to have it doesn’t stop you it just delays you. I know about the real reality of this situation I live it every day, and in this instance “it’s never too late” to change your way of thinking!
So the challenge is to get up and get moving! From this day forward anything is possible. Make it your personal mission to please yourself, and reach for your dreams. This sounds somewhat selfish, but really if you are not happy with yourself then you can’t really be helpful to and for others in the long run. There is absolutely nothing wrong with wanting to reach some long lost goals. Don’t’ let anyone else tell you what you can or cannot do form this day forward. You are the one who controls your destiny and just how far you will go. Your past is no longer your potential, but you are creating a future through new, creative, fresh, unique ideas, and mindsets. You determine how far you go! You decide what is the best for you! You set your own standards! You reach as far as you can without anyone slapping your hands down. From this day forward there is no looking back. We press forward towards that high mark or calling for our lives. One of the most important things about moving forward is letting your past and people who discouraged you go. Those who hurt you in word and deed you must give them to God and let Him handle them. I have seen many who have tried to harm me get it back from God. So let Him do His job and get it off of you. This is another key to moving forward!!
Be encouraged and please remain focused on your new and real goals. Please remember “IT’S NEVER TOO LATE!”
