Irritation

I chose to talk about this subject because it is something I am personally dealing with in my own life. I have the awesome privilege and talent of being able to write so in my many frustrated moments I write about it. I have been really irritated lately and can’t really put my finger on why. I am not doing anything out of the ordinary I am still praying and reading my word but I still feel really irritated at times lately. I am remembering something that was told to me many years ago and it says; “frustration is unfulfilled expectation!” This really hit me when I stop to address the issue of my own irritation lately. I realized that life has showed its bad side to me on many occasions lately and it has been more often than not. I have come to know that to whom much is given that much is required and this is an ongoing thing. I also realize every day that I am human and can only physically take so much on my own and in my own strength.  So when I realize that I am irritated I stop to look at myself because I am bringing negativity to those who are around me most. I have to remind myself that this  opposition to my fulfillment of destiny is only a test that I can pass if I don’t sir come  to the pressure it brings. Finally I have to know that I am victorious no matter how dark the situation looks or is.

I tell myself that life is about choices and I make the choice to be mad, frustrated, irritated or any other mood I choose to be in. I can make the choice to make lemonade out of the lemons I have been given or I can suck on them, Lol…  it is all a choice I make!

So the purpose of this encouragement is to tell any and every one reading who is dealig with some type of irritating situation to make a choice to not allow it to stop you. Life is truly about choices and ifyou swing with every bad or negative situation you will be one of the most unstable people around.  Don’t let life dictate to you through irritation.  Make a conscious decision to be bigger and better than the situation that typically is temporary. One of the things I often tell others and have to remind myself of is; “never make a permanent decision in a temporary situation!” In doing this you make decisions that you have to turn around and change because they were situational or emotionally driven.

I encourage all who read to not be irritated with life, family, friends, or any other thing that may be irritating you. Put it all into perspective. Make a conscious decision to think before you speak, choose positive words over negative ones. Look at life‘s challenges as a means to making you stronger and not a victim.  Finally be driven by the gift of life and an appreciation for what it brings on a day to day basis. Life is truly a gift and we should be so grateful for seeing any new day. Please keep it all in perspective and receive Gods brand new grace and mercy for us daily.

Have a great Day everyone!
