I was so inspired the other day by a man who gave his testimony about being diagnosed with a rare disease that is in the MS family. This once vibrant individual is now in a wheel chair. He talked about how it was to be in this situation and what he has had to go through. He talked about the transition from able to disabled. Now to hear this you would think he was depressed or down, but he was far from that. He talked about how he daily has to tell his mind to come into order. He talked about how many people have prayed or wanted to pray for him. He alsotalked about how he was just passing through with this earth suit he was given. I was so blown away when he said very clearly that he does not give power to negative circumstances. He talked about how he is already healed and he doesn’t confess any thing other than that. People look at him outwardly and think that he is this down and out person with this horrible disease but he is far from that. I have always been a pretty positive person and listening to this man tell his story encouraged me so much.
What does it mean to give power to negative words?
This simply means to look at your situation and or circumstance and choose to not allow it to take over you. Being positive kills all negative thoughts and moods. It is simply looking at what can potentially be a bad situation and not givingit power to manifest in our words or deeds. To be a positive person takes all authority away from negativity and simply kills it. Negativity can spread like a wild fire but if it has nothing to ignite it then it is powerless.
So I will leave you with this thought: when we are positive in our speech, actions and character all the time it leaves no room for a negative person, or situation to take over the atmosphere. Keep it positive and the power of the negativity that wants to show its face wil not be able to.
Have a great day! D
