Columbus Day?

Columbus Day?

So I’ve been thinking again and this is not always good. So in 2015 don’t you think it’s time we quit playing the I don’t know any better game? Why in the world are we avoiding the truth and what really happened in this county’s history? Why do we walk around like celebrating days like today is not ill moral, should be illegal, and completely preposterous? First of all how can someone discover a body of land that was already inhabited by not only natives of the land but also black explores who had already traveled to this land many times prior to Columbus? This is facts that have never been printed in history books. We read about how inhumane the early “settlers” were and we celebrate it like it was okay for them to do what they did. Instead of settlers I refer to them as murderers, thieves, genocidal-maniacs, and or sociopaths because that is what they really were. We have bought into this idea that this fool discovered something that already existed. Come on people this is 2015 and we can’t keep avoiding the obvious. The real reality is that we are celebrating some of what should be the most embarrassing moments of this country’s history. WE should be appalled that they nearly destroyed the Native Americans existence in this world. We further celebrate that this behavior continued with the descendants of Africans in this same barbaric manner. We have to wake up sooner or later ad read the true history of what really went on in this country. So if you ask me we should call it dumb man’s day! This dude thought he was going to India when he got to America and to further his pride he called them Indians instead of natives.  We have to realize that the ones who wrote history have been misleading, misguiding, deceptive, malicious, and purposeful in their plan to distort history. This is why I will never call it history but his-story!  So why we have made it a national holiday and some people get to take the day off, we are all off if we really believe what has been fed to us as a huge lie!  Once again this is 2015, the information age, and knowledge is too accessible for us to get to in order to continue in this farce.

No I will not celebrate a day idolizing a murderer who had no clue where he was going and a country who will not give true credit to those who had already discovered this country.

This is the truth about Columbus Day!
