Effortless change
Yesterday Dec 30th I was at church and I heard something so simple yet so profound. The subject was effortless change and it sounds so easy to say and or do but it is much more of a challenge. Our Pastor encouraged us to change our way of thinking. Now I will not steal the whole sermon because this is something I preach all the time. What I will start off saying is that if you allow constant negativity then you will reproduce what you hang around. If you allow trash to be put into your life; then garbage in, garbage out is your life story. You must make sure that you are not allowing people to change who and what you are. The change starts from within. Proverbs 23:7 is simple the way you think is the way it will be. Who told you that you were not going to be anything, are stupid, are weak, are a failure, exc… This did not come from God becaseu he only has good thoughts toward and or for us (Jeremiah 29:11). When we allow people to plant trash in to our gardens we are essentially saying that we want to be poisoned. Garbage can only reproduce more garbage. So we must change everything about us that will led to us being toxic. The word of God is clear in saying to us that whatever we meditate on the most will be us in the future. If you look back at what you thought yesterday you are now living today. We are only limited by what we think we can accomplish. So let’s start today by changing what we think about ourselves. Think only positive thoughts. Get rid of those who are negative thinkers. Also get rid of those who plant negativity into your atmosphere. We are the designer of our own destiny and we can determine our outcomes, good or bad. So I encourage everyone who reads to think positively and act positively. Speak those things you want to see happen in your future. Let nothing or no one limit what you have the potential to do or be. This is effortless if you think about it. The sky is the limit and if we were hot air balloons then we must let out the extra weight in order to fly. The same for us as people; we must get rid of any empty weight that holds us down.
