Being Content

07/03/2012 04:08

Greetings all,

This week I really wanted to encourage everyone to be content. Now when I say content I don't mean content in a complacent way, but content in an appreciative way. It so easy at times in life to get really discontented with life and how things are going but I encourage you to remain focused, steadfast, and happy with how life is. I have said before that things are the way that they are because they're supposed to be. This is sometimes hard to stomach but it simply is the way thimgs ate. Now with this we have a choice we can simply allow life to beat us up or we can take life as it comes and move forward. Contentment comes from within if your heart ,and your mind is content thrn typically you are physically content. Discontentment also comes from within and if we are not diligent and disciplined in our behavior then discontentment will rule. Life is really not as hard as it may seem at times. Our focus must be on the things that we do have such as breath, life, and so many significant things that we really don't see a significant. Finally I personally find my contentment in the creator of this whole universe my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and as long as I have peace with Him I have peace within. Things to remember...

1. Life is a gift not to be taken for granted so live it to the fullest.

2. Don't find your happiness in things that may not always be around like money, fame, fortune, or materialism. (It's okay to have stuff but don't find your self worth in those things ).

3. Remain positive no matter how negative life situations can be.

4. Never make permanent decisions in temporary situations (hasty decisions typically derive from being angry ).

5. Don't speak situationally sometimes its easier not to speak then to speak something that you'll regret later.

6. Frustration is unfulfilled expectation so when one door shuts then go for the other doors that are seemingly open, never be content just keep pressing on.

7. Finally don't be afraid to fail setbacks are typically set ups, rejection sets us up for success. (Success typically comes out of failure many who have failed have gone on to succeed).

As you game wisdom and understanding please share the wealth. D
